Engineering Partnerships Convention

Nyeri County is gearing up to host the fifth Engineering Partnerships Convention scheduled for May 7th–10th, 2024. This national convention will be held at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology(DeKUT).

Purpose of the Forum

The purpose of the convention is to:

  • Reflect on achievements
  • Address emerging trends and challenges in the engineering sector.

The three-day conference expects to host over 3,000 participants, attending physically and virtually. The Vice-Chancellor of DeKUT is confident in the institution’s ability to host such a significant event, aligning with technological advancements and innovations goals.

Innovation Fair

The convention seeks to showcase Kenya’s engineering innovations, analyze milestones of the past 60 years, strategize for the future, and establish new goals and directions for the engineering field. It also aims to foster collaboration among professionals, innovators, researchers, policymakers, academia, and organizations.

The fair will provide a platform for exhibiting creativity, ingenuity, and advancements, showcasing cutting-edge ideas, products, and solutions.
